Writer, Artist, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Friend
I've been creating, making and writing for as long as I can remember.

TV Land
I worked in television broadcasting for over two decades in a variety of roles, learning the business from the inside out. The list of positions held include: news producer, reporter, creative services director and promotion manager. I won awards for promotion spots and reporting. Following a complete news graphic and set re-design, our local affiliate newscast took the number one slot for the first time in the station's history. I negotiated the contracts and was lead creative on the custom graphics and music packages for that makeover.

Upon making the move to Jacksonville, Florida from my hometown in the Florida panhandle, I started working freelance as a producer, video writer and casting agent. I also scouted locations for videos I produced. I was hired by local production companies to work with their clients including, the United Transportation Union, CSX, American Viatical and Larry's Giant Subs. I also created print ads for a local bank.

Non-Profit, Pro Bono and Government Sector
I worked as newsletter editor, writer and pitch-hitting graphic designer for a local non-profit for about a year and, as part of my volunteer work, wrote newsletter articles and helped write speeches for local PTA leaders for many years. Once I headed back to work full-time, I starting working in the public sector for the City of Jacksonville, the Duval County School Board and, presently, for JEA, Jacksonville's municipal utility. During this time I served as web content manager for each of these entities and have also produced an award-winning public service program, won national recognition for web design and have written for a variety of print from feature and informative articles for an award-winning magazine to annual reports to bill inserts.

I am ready to grow and learn new things. I hope to be a creative contributor adding my know-how, talents and ideas to the collaborative mix where ever I find a new home. I enjoy working with all kinds of people and look forward to the next step on my journey, the new things I will do, the new people I will meet and the new goals we can achieve.

I hope we can work together. Drop me an email. Let's talk about your creative needs.
